Back in 1983 Grant ltd’s earliest works were in this sector and over the following 35 years they have successfully completed a varied range of commercial properties such as shopping centres, supermarkets, hospitals and public sector buildings with great success.

We are currently looking to grow our presence in this sector and are actively looking to engage with new clients on suitable development schemes.

60 bedroom care home, Grant ltd have undertaken site clearance followed by the construction of all roads, sewers, substructure and external works.

Thomas Armstrong WCF and Lidl supermarket development, Cockermouth

Grant ltd have undertaken the construction of a precast concrete retaining wall as well as all groundworks in preparation for the construction of the main steel superstructure to the new WCF building, demolition of the existing WCF building will follow and allow construction of the Lidl supermarket thereafter.

Additional Projects

  • North Lakes Business Park including cut & Fill to levels, new drains, services and roads. Construction of commercial buildings including for A-plant and Lyon Leisure.
  • The complete development of Flusco Wood Holiday park from green field and disused quarry to 80 luxury holiday lodges, 60 fully serviced touring pitches, amenity building/shower block.
  • The bulk earthworks, drainage connection, water connection, and landscaping of Silver Howe Holiday Park. This was a new planning permission granted in 2010 and all development work was done by Grant Ltd.
  • Refurbishment of 12 holiday lodges 2015, a new amenity building, a new Bio Mass boiler and store building, District heating underground main and connection to all existing lodges. Provision for a further two lodges, which are currently being completed.
