Andrea has recently joined the team after working within the finance departments of a number of large multi national companies, based in Carlisle she brings experience and knowledge to the Grant ltd management team.

Scott Burns (General Manager)

Scott has a vast amount of Construction and Civil Engineering knowledge built up during his years working his way from a site based worker through, Ganger, Foreman, Site Manager, Contracts Manager and onto his present role of General Manager. Able and willing to lend a hand to anything Scott is a valuable part of the new Grant ltd Management structure and is committed to the growth aspirations of Grant ltd since joining the company in late 2017.

Andrew Weeks (Commercial Manager)

Andrew has recently joined the firm after 10 years working as a key member of a successful regional construction and civil engineering company. Joining with an eye to the future and aspirations to be an integral part of the management team leading Grant ltd through 2018 and onwards Andrew is another member of the management team who is committed to diversification and growth over the forthcoming years.

Alistair Nelson (Managing Director)

Alistair has valuable experience in a variety of industry sectors gained during his 20+ years in the Construction and Civil Engineering industries, he recently spent 12 years working within various sectors of the Kier group on a range of regional projects within the Commercial, Industrial, Clean/Waste Water and Educational sectors before moving onto larger national Construction and Civil engineering projects in the Nuclear and Infrastructure sectors.  Alistair is ideally placed to work with the new Management team to deliver the controlled growth aspirations of Grant ltd over the coming years.

Roger Chamberlain (Director)

Roger founded the Company in 1983 and has spent the last 35 years driving the firm forward in a variety of different work sectors. Since stepping back from his role in late 2017 Roger has taken an advisory role but continues to be a point of contact for some of our returning clients with whom he has built up an ongoing personal relationship.

Nicky Gordon (Director)

Nicky joined the company in late 2017 after carving himself a successful career in groundworks and civil engineering, he has been personally involved with a variety of large volume developments, having negotiated the successful ongoing delivery of over 5000 plots for national and regional housing developers since 2004. Additionally, Nicky has extensive experience of housing and commercial development value engineering techniques as well as a catalogue of successful private property developments behind him.

George Chamberlain (Director)

George has worked for Grant ltd since the early days and has built up a vast amount of practical knowledge and experience of specialist Civil Engineering practices during this period.  If there is a safe, cost efficient and practical way of doing something or overcoming a problem then George will have done it or knows of a way to do it.  George stepped away from the daily running of the firm in 2017 but continues in an advisory capacity on our highly specialist Hydroelectric, Water Industry and Tidal/River works projects.

Mark Walker (Director)

Mark joined the company in late 2017 and prior to that has been involved in land and property development for well over 20 years. Mark has extensive knowledge of the optimisation of property assets, understanding changing market trends and policies. Mark is focused on the growth of Grant ltd and looks to assure this growth through provision of his experienced advice to the management team.

Charles Chamberlain (Director)

A qualified Chartered Surveyor, Charles joined the firm a number of years ago after selling his own successful surveying business and had undertaken the more technical demands of running Grant ltd alongside his two brothers Roger and George, in 2017 Charles stepped away from the daily work demands and is now operating in an advisory capacity on the technical aspects of our highly specialist Hydroelectric, Water Industry and Tidal/River works projects.
