Nicky Gordon (Owner & Director)

After carving himself a successful career in groundworks and civil engineering over the past 15 years, Nicky undertook a phased buyout of the company in 2017. Nicky has been personally involved with a variety of large volume developments, having negotiated the successful ongoing delivery of over 5000 plots for national and regional housing developers since 2002, along with a number of commercial projects. Through this experience, Nicky has extensive experience of housing and commercial development value engineering techniques as well as a catalogue of successful property developments behind him in his role as Managing Director and major shareholder of Cumbrian housebuilder Genesis Homes.

Scott Burns (General Manager - Cumbria)

Scott has a vast amount of Construction and Civil Engineering knowledge built up during his years working his way from a site based worker through, Ganger, Foreman, Site Manager, Contracts Manager and onto his present role of General Manager. Able and willing to lend a hand to anything Scott is a valuable part of the new Grant ltd Management structure and is committed to the growth aspirations of Grant ltd since joining the company in late 2017.

Neil Richardson (Commercial Manager)

Neil has joined the firm in 2018 after 30 years working for a small number of successful regional construction and civil engineering companies. Neil's long standing industry experience is much respected within the business.

Joe Abernethy (Finance Manager)

A Chartered Accountant with notable experience, Joe is responsible for the day to day financial transacting of the business and its statutory obligations.

Having started his career in practice, Joe joined the company after successful roles in retail with Edinburgh Woolen Mill and latterly in construction at Topnotch Contractors.
