Founded by Roger & George Chamberlain, the Grant name has been in the forefront of specialised civil engineering for 20 years. Based in Penrith, Cumbria, Grant Ltd have undertaken projects as far afield as Rainham, Essex and Wick in the north of Scotland.

We have a solid reputation through our small dedicated workforce in delivering, cost effective and on-time projects. Chiefly working as sub-contractors we specialise in deep excavation, ground support and renewable energy schemes. The family run business also has a variety of commercial premises and yard space to let and facilities for the disposal of innert waste in the Penrith area.

    We run a fleet of 30 tonne excavators and earth moving equipment and a variety of specialised attachments such as vibro pile hammers, rock wheels, rock hammers and compacters.

    All equipment is fully serviced and maintained and regularly tested in line with LOLER and PUWER 1998.
